Initiative process in Arizona the subject of filed bill
PHOENIX, Arizona: An Arizona State Initiative Process Amendment may appear on the November 2014 statewide general election ballot. The measure would shorten the time that organizers of potential initiatives have to submit signatures for ballot consideration.
Currently, organizers have until four months before an election, which is usually in early July every even-numbered year. This proposal would make May 1 of every election year the deadline.
