Inverness Public Utility District Appropriations Limit Increase, Measure H (November 2011)
The approval of Measure H means that the appropriations limit for the Inverness Public Utility District will be increased for up to four years. Measure H will not cause an increase or a decrease in the property taxes paid by residents of the district. Rather, if Measure H had been defeated, property tax revenue that would otherwise have been available to the Inverness Public Utility District would have to have been transferred to some other government entity.
- Election results are from the Marin County elections office.
The question on the ballot:
|MEASURE H: Shall the appropriations limit established for the Inverness Public Utility District pursuant to Article XIIIB of the California Constitution be adjusted to include the combined total of all applicable revenue sources for the fiscal years 2011/2012 through 2014/2015 in order to ensure an adequate funding base for the Inverness Public Utility District?
