Jackie McPherson was a 2014 Democratic candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 1st Congressional District of Arkansas.[1] Jackie McPherson lost the general election on November 4, 2014.


McPherson has served as the mayor of Heber Springs for six years. Prior to that, he spent 12 years on the city council.[1]

McPherson ran in the 2014 election for the U.S. House to represent Arkansas's 1st District. McPherson ran unopposed in the Democratic primary on May 20, 2014. He was defeated by incumbent Rick Crawford (R) in the general election on November 4, 2014.[2]
