James Foster was a 2014 Libertarian candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 1st Congressional District of Oregon.[1] He was defeated by incumbent Suzanne Bonamici (D) in the general election on November 4, 2014.[2]

Foster was previously a 2012 Libertarian candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 1st Congressional District of Oregon. He ran in the special election on January 31, 2012. He also ran for District 34 of the Oregon House of Representatives on November 2, 2010.
