James Hart was a 2014 Independent candidate seeking election to the U.S. House to represent the 8th Congressional District of Tennessee.[1] He was defeated by incumbent Stephen Lee Fincher (R) in the general election on November 4, 2014.[2]

Hart was also a 2014 Independent candidate for District 75 of the Tennessee House of Representatives.[3]

Hart was a 2012 Independent candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 8th Congressional District of Tennessee.[4]
