Jay Tibshraeny is the current Mayor of Chandler, Arizona. He was first elected to the position in 2010 and previously served as Mayor from 1994 to 2002.

Tibshraeny is a former Republican member of the Arizona State Senate, representing District 21 from 2003 to 2011. He served as the Planning and Zoning Commissioner for the City of Chandler in 1980 and on the Chandler City Council from 1986 to 1994. He was Vice Mayor of Chandler from 1990 to 1994.

Biography

Tibshraeny earned his B.S. in Accounting from Arizona State University. His professional experience includes working property management and citrus growing.
