Jeff Eldridge (Republican Party) is a member of the West Virginia House of Delegates, representing District 30. He assumed office on December 1, 2024. His current term ends on December 1, 2026.
Eldridge (Republican Party) ran for election to the West Virginia House of Delegates to represent District 30. He won in the general election on November 5, 2024.
Eldridge switched from the Democratic Party to become an independent in 2018.[1] He filed to run as a Republican in 2024.
Biography
Eldridge earned his B.A. in education/counseling from Marshall University. He received his M.A. in counseling and his L.S.W. in social work from Marshall University.[2]

2014
Elections for the West Virginia House of Delegates took place in 2014. A primary election took place on May 13, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was January 25, 2014. District 22 is represented by two delegates. Incumbent Jeff Eldridge and Gary McCallister defeated incumbent Joshua Barker in the Democratic primary. McCallister defeated Barker by one vote in a recount. Michel Moffatt and Justin Mullins were unopposed in the Republican primary. Eldridge and Moffatt defeated McCallister and Mullins in the general election.[7][8]
2012
Eldridge won election in the 2012 election for West Virginia House of Delegates, District 22. Eldridge and incumbent Josh Stowers defeated Bill Bryant, Ed Triplett, and Gloria Triplett in the May 8 primary election. He was challenged by Josh Stowers, Gary Johngrass, and Michel Moffatt in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[9][10][11]

2010
Eldridge did not run for re-election to West Virginia House of Delegates District 19. He ran for West Virginia Senate District 7 against incumbent Ron Stollings and was defeated in the primary election on May 11, 2010.[13]
2008
In 2008, Eldridge was re-elected to the West Virginia House District 19. Eldridge(D) finished with 13,511 votes. He finished behind Greg Butcher (D) who had 16,828 votes and Josh Stowers (D) with 13,846 votes. Eldridge was in front of Ralph Rodighiero (D) who had 13,381 votes.[14] Eldridge raised $26,492 for his campaign fund.[15]
