Jerry Chang is a Democratic member of the Hawaii House of Representatives, representing District 2 from 1988 to 2012.

Chang is a Realtor/Vice President with Seawind Realty Incorporated. He previously served as a Legislative Aide in 1988, was a Sergeant in the United States Army from 1967-1970, and was Manager/Secretary/Treasurer of the Puueo Poi Factory Incorporated.

He is a member of the Big Island Amateur Boxing Association, Big Island Road Runners, Big Island Substance Abuse Council, Hawaii Isle Chamber of Commerce, Hawaii Isle Portuguese Chamber of Commerce, and Japanese Chamber of Commerce, and is Director of the Center for a Sustainable Future, Exchange Club of Hilo, and Steadfast Housing Development Corporation.[1]

Chang had no primary opposition in the Democratic primary election on September 18, 2010. Chang won re-election to the Hawaii House of Representatives District 2, defeating Sharon Vannata (R) in the general election on November 2, 2010.[2]
