Jim Stieringer was a 2014 Republican candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 53rd Congressional District of California.[1]


Stieringer holds a bachelor's degree in business administration and a master's degree in management. He served in the United States Air Force as a Captain. Stieringer is a former City Treasurer and currently serves as an elected school board member.[2]

Stieringer ran in the 2014 election for the U.S. House to represent California's 53rd District. Stieringer was defeated in the blanket primary on June 3, 2014.[3]
