Joanne Favors is a Democratic member of the Tennessee House of Representatives, representing District 28. She was first elected to the chamber in 2004. Following the 2014 elections, Favors was named as Minority Whip. She previously served as Minority Caucus Vice Chair.

Biography

Favors earned her AS and B.S. in Nursing. She went on to receive her M.S. in Nursing Administration/Adult Health. Favors previously worked as the Executive Director of Southside and Dodson Avenue Community Health Centers.
