Johannah Leddy Donovan (b. September 18, 1944) is a Democratic member of the Vermont House of Representatives, representing Chittenden 6-5. She was first elected to the chamber in 2000.


Donovan earned her B.A. from Trinity College in 1967.

Donovan worked as a Social Worker for the City of Boston from 1967 to 1968. She then worked as a substitute teacher for the Burlington School District from 1985 to 1988. From 1988 to 1990, she was a Justice of the Peace. She also worked as a Title I Teacher for the Burlington School District during this time. Donovan then worked as a teacher from 1990 to 1992. She has taught at Vermont Adult Learning since 1993.

Donovan has been the Executive Assistant to the Vermont Democratic Party.

Donovan won re-election in the 2012 election for Vermont House of Representatives Chittenden 6-5. Donovan was unopposed in the August 28 Democratic primary and was unopposed in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[1][2]
