Campaign themes

Sheil lists the following themes on his campaign website:[2]

  • Empowerment: "From sound education policies and increased access to affordable health care, to lobbying reform in Washington, I am focused on issues of equality and putting power in the hands of the people. I truly believe in creating a level playing field where individuals have the power to influence their own destiny."
  • Opportunity: "My campaign is focused on strengthening the community by putting Ohioans back to work and creating an economy that’s built to last. The key is a stronger middle class and sound investments in infrastructure that encourage job growth and prosperity."
  • Innovation: "I will bring new ideas to Washington that focus on a smarter, more efficient form of government that can focus on smarter investments in the public and private sectors. I will encourage bi-partisanship cooperation and eliminate the hyper-partisanship that leads to a refusal to compromise."
