Biography

Dabeet's professional experience includes working as the Chair of the Business Department and Economics and Statistics professor at Muscatine Community College and an adjunct professor at Iowa Wesleyan College.[1]

Elections for the office of Iowa House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on June 3, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature-filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was March 14, 2014. John Dabeet was unopposed in the Democratic primary, while Gary Carlson defeated Mark Cisneros in the Republican primary. Dabeet faced Carlson in the general election.[4][5] Carlson defeated Dabeet in the general election.[6]
