John Genovesi was a 2011 Republican candidate for District 36 of the New Jersey General Assembly.

Genovesi's professional experience includes working as the owner of esell24-7, reverse mortgage specialist at Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, and Director of Sales & Marketing at Mignatti Companies. He serves as a councilman for Rutherford, New Jersey.

John Genovesi was a candidate for District 36 of the New Jersey General Assembly. He was defeated in the November 8 general election. He and Sara Rosengarten ran unopposed in the June 7 Republican primary. Gary Schaer and Marlene Caride ran unopposed in the Democratic primary.[1]

As of October 25, candidates for District 36 have raised $1,690,651--according to the New Jersey Election Law Enforcement Commission. This makes District 36 number seven in fundraising for the 2011 election season. Candidates for the district have spent $1,205,468 of their campaign funds.[2]
