John Howard is the current Chairman of the South Carolina Public Service Commission. He was first appointed to the commission on March 4, 2004, and was elected Vice Chairman in July of 2008 and Chairman in July of 2010. Howard served as chairman from July 2010 to July 2012.[1] His current term expires on June 30, 2012. Due to redistricting, his term has been extended until the General Assembly elections are held in 2013.[1]

Howard served in the US Army from 1963 to 1966.[1]

Howard was first appointed to the commission on March 4, 2004, and was elected Vice Chairman in July of 2008 and Chairman in July of 2010. Howard served as chairman from July 2010 to July 2012.[1] His current term expires on June 30, 2012.Due to redistricting, his term has been extended until the General Assembly elections are held in 2013.[1]
