John C. Tidwell (b. August 15, 1941) is a Democratic member of the Tennessee House of Representatives, representing District 74. He was first elected to the chamber in 1996.

Biography

Tidwell attended Post-graduate studies at Caste Heights Military Academy in Lebanon. He received his B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Tennessee in 1966. He is a civil engineer. Tidwell has served on the New Johnsonville City Council and the Humphreys County Commission.
