Josh Derke was a 2014 Democratic candidate for District 93 of the Michigan House of Representatives.[1][2]


Derke earned his B.A. in English language and literature from the University of Michigan. He is also a certified nurse aide.[3]

Elections for the office of Michigan House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election was held on August 5, 2014, and a general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature-filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was April 22, 2014. Josh Derke was unopposed in the Democratic primary. Incumbent Tom Leonard was unopposed in the Republican primary. Michael Trebesh ran as an independent candidate. Leonard defeated Derke and Trebesh in the general election.[4][5][1][2]
