Sixteen Kane County Unincorporated & Municipal Electrical Aggregation questions were on the March 20, 2012 ballot in 26 municipalities and the unincorporated area of Kane County.

Twelve of the measures were approved, 4 defeated[1]

These measures sought to allow the local authorities to aggregate electricity for residents in order to obtain lower rates. Residents would also be able to opt out of the programs if they wanted to stay with their current services.[2]
