Kate M. Fox is a justice of the Wyoming Supreme Court. She was appointed by Governor Matt Mead in November of 2013 to fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Justice Barton Voigt. She will face retention in 2016. She is the second woman to serve on the Wyoming Supreme Court.[1]

Education

Fox earned her B.A. from the University of Wyoming in 1976. She also attended the University of Wyoming for law school, and graduated with her J.D. in 1989.[2]

Career

Before joining the Wyoming Supreme Court, Fox was a partner in the office of Davis & Cannon. Prior to that, she served as law clerk to Federal District Court Judge Clarence A. Brimmer for a year. She has also worked on her family's dude ranch.[2]
