Kilcommons earned her B.S. in graphic arts and museum work from Ladycliff College in 1978.
Kilcommons was a candidate for District 15 of the New Jersey General Assembly. She was defeated in the November 8 general election. Kilcommons and Peter Yull ran unopposed in the Republican Primary on June 7. Reed Gusciora and Bonnie Watson Coleman ran unopposed in the Democratic primary.
Kilcommonas and her husband, James, have six children.
