The general election will take place on November 4, 2014. The signature-filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was March 7, 2014. Richard C. Garrett was unopposed in the Democratic primary, while incumbent Katie M. Dempsey was unopposed in the Republican primary. Garrett will face Dempsey in the general election.[1][2]
