Kendall County Auditor & Recorder Position Creation Questions, 2 (March 2012)
Both measures were approved
The two questions asked residents if the newly created positions of County Auditor and Recorder should be eliminated by December 2012, or should they remain. The two positions had been created, due to the county's population growth the positions are mandated by law, but a vote was needed to keep the positions. County officials noted that the addition of these two positions would add $625,000 to the annual budget. Candidates for both positions were also on the March ballot, so if the positions remained then there would have also been someone elected to hold the offices.
