Kenneth Blankenbush is a Republican member of the New York State Assembly, representing District 117. He was first elected to the chamber in 2010.

He previously represented District 122 in the Assembly from 2011 to 2013. Blankenbush has been a town councilman for the Town of LeRay and a member of the Jefferson County Board of Legislators.

Biography

Blankenbush earned his B.S. in History from SUNY Plattsburgh. His professional experience includes working in the insurance industry where he became a branch manager for Metropolitan Life Insurance before leaving to start his own company, BEL Associates. Blankenbush served in the U.S. Air Force from 1968 to 1976.
