Biography

Walker earned his B.A. in Biology from Cheyney University. His professional experience includes working as a residential advisor at Girard College, as a public school teacher, as a Case Manager for Mental Health and Homeless population, as a Drug and Alcohol Coordinator and as a wrestling coach.[1]

The signature-filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was March 11, 2014. Incumbent W. Curtis Thomas defeated Emily Rodriguez, Kenneth Walker and Kenneth Williams-Medley in the Democratic primary. Thomas is unchallenged in the general election.[2][3]
