Elections for the office of Maryland House of Delegates will take place in 2014. A primary election took place June 24, 2014. The general election will be held on November 4, 2014. The filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was February 25, 2014. Incumbent David D. Rudolph was unopposed in the Democratic primary, while Kevin Bailey Hornberger defeated John C. Mackie, Jr. and Mary Catherine Podlesak in the Republican primary. Podlesak then filed as a write-in candidate. Rudolph faces Hornberger and Podlesak in the general election.[2][3]
