Kevin Bratcher (Republican Party) is a member of the Louisville Metro Council in Kentucky, representing District 22. He assumed office on January 6, 2025. His current term ends on January 1, 2029.

Bratcher (Republican Party) ran for election to the Louisville Metro Council to represent District 22 in Kentucky. He won in the general election on November 5, 2024.

Biography

Bratcher's professional experience includes working as a supervisor and technical instructor. He served as a Sailor in the United States Navy from 1985 to 1991. Bratcher has been a member of the Freemasons and the Kentucky Railway Museum.[1]

The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was January 28, 2014. Dave Stengel ran unopposed in the Democratic primary, while incumbent Kevin D. Bratcher ran unopposed in the Republican primary. Bratcher defeated Stengel in the general election.[5][6][7]

Bratcher's opponent in the November 2 general election was Democratic candidate Dustin Wilcher. According to official results, Bratcher defeated Wilcher by a margin of 15,019 to 6,976. Bratcher ran unopposed in the May 18 Republican primary election.[10][11][12][13]

On November 4, 2008, Bratcher was re-elected to the 29th District Seat in the Kentucky House of Representatives, defeating James A. Sexton (D).[14] Bratcher raised $11,910 for his campaign, while Sexton raised $3,550.[15]
