Kevin Sinnette
Kevin Sinnette (Democratic Party) was a member of the Kentucky House of Representatives, representing District 100. Sinnette assumed office in 2009. Sinnette left office on December 31, 2018.
Sinnette ran for election for the Division 2 judge of the Kentucky Court of Appeals 7th Appellate District. Sinnette lost in the primary on May 22, 2018.
Sinnette is a former Democratic member of the Kentucky House of Representatives, representing District 100 from 2009 to 2018.
Biography
Kevin Sinnette was born in Ashland, Kentucky. He earned a bachelor's degree in public health from Eastern Kentucky University in 1984 and a J.D. from the Northern Kentucky University Salmon P. Chase College of Law in 1988. Sinnette worked as an assistant corporation counsel for the City of Ashland and as an attorney.[1][2]

Elections for the Kentucky House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on May 20, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was January 28, 2014. Incumbent Kevin P. Sinnette ran unopposed in the Democratic primary and was unchallenged in the general election.[7][8][9]

Sinnette won re-election in the 2012 election for Kentucky House of Representatives District 100. He ran unopposed in the Democratic primary on May 22, 2012, and was unopposed in the general election on November 6, 2012.[10][11]
2010
Sinnette's opponent in the November 2 general election was Republican candidate Cheryl Spriggs. According to official results, Sinnette defeated Spriggs by a margin of 6,517 to 4,397.[12]

On November 4, 2008, Sinnette was elected to the 100th District Seat in the Kentucky House of Representatives, defeating Michael R. Stewart (R).[13] Sinnette raised $84,679 for his campaign, while Stewart raised $17,525.[14]
