The question on the ballot:

Shall a levy be imposed by the Kirtland Local School District for the purpose of providing for the emergency requirements of the school district in the sum of $1,352,991 and a levy of taxes be made outside of the ten-mill limitation estimated by the county auditor to average 4 mills for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to 40 cents for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for five years, commencing in 2011, first due in calendar year 2012?[3]
