The question on the ballot:
|Shall the previously voted increase in the tax limitation imposed under Article IX Section 6, of the Michigan Constitution on general ad valorem taxes within Lakefield Township be renewed at two (2) mills ($2.00 per $1,000.00 of taxable value) for the period of 2013 through 2022 inclusive, to provide funds to maintain, repair, and replace the roads and bridges of said township; and shall the township levy such renewal in millage for said purpose thereby raising, in the first year, an estimated $58,389.00.|
