Laurie-Ann Sayles was a 2014 Democratic candidate for District 17 of the Maryland House of Delegates.[1]


Sayles earned her bachelor's degree in public health from the University of Maryland, College Park. She went on to earn a graduate degree in public administration, with honors, from the University of Baltimore.[2]

Elections for the office of Maryland House of Delegates took place in 2014. A primary election took place on June 24, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was February 25, 2014. Andrew Platt and incumbents Kumar P. Barve and Jim Gilchrist defeated Susan Hoffmann, Laurie-Ann Sayles and George Zamora in the Democratic primary and were unopposed in the general election.[3][4]
