Leland "Lee" Heinrich (b. July 29, 1943) was a Republican member of the Idaho State Senate from 2006-2010. Henrich was last re-elected in November of 2008 with his term expiring in 2010.

Heinrich graduated with his Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Idaho in 1965.

Heirich was defeated by challenger Sheryl L. Nuxoll in the Republican primary on May 25 by a margin of 3,825-2,896.[2] Heinrich was seeking his third term. Nuxoll ran against Leta Strauss (D) in the general election on November 2, 2010.


On November 4, 2008, Republican Leland Heinrich won re-election to the Idaho State Senate District 8 receiving 11,434 votes, ahead of Democrat Randy Doman(7,111).[3]
