Leon County Charter Amendments, 6 (November 2010)

Six Leon County Charter Amendment measure were on the November 2, 2010 ballot in Leon County.

Five of the six amendments were approved

The first measure sought to reduce the signature threshold for charter amendment petitions. The current rate is 10 percent of eligible county and district residents, the new percentage would be 7 percent of the county voters and 5 percent of each district.

The second amendment would limit campaign donations to candidates for county commission and constitutional offices to $250 per contributor.
