Lew Frederick is a Democratic member of the Oregon House of Representatives, representing District 43. He was first appointed to the chamber on October 30, 2009, to replace Rep. Chip Shields, who resigned to take a seat in the Oregon State Senate.

Biography

Frederick attended Earham College and is a PhD candidate in Urban Studies/Communications at Portland State University. His professional experience includes working as a Strategic Communications Consultant, and as a former director of Public Information for the Portland Public Schools. He also was a television reporter for KGW-Channel 8 Portland.[1]
