A Long Beach Veteran's Preference, Measure C
ballot proposition was on the November 2, 2010 ballot
for voters in the City of Long Beach in Los Angeles County
. It was approved.
Measure C amended the Long Beach City Charter to:
- Increase the credits given to disabled veterans in city hiring processes.
- Lower the disability threshold from 30% to 10% so that more veterans wounded in service receive the hiring preference.
