BATON ROUGE, Louisiana: Today marks the end of the early voting period for residents in Louisiana. Though turnout has not seen a significant increase from previous early voting periods for November elections, political analysts are guessing turnout on election date will push the numbers higher than normal. It was also noted that even though early voting has ended, the last week of campaigning will be more fierce with more negative TV adds showing up.[1] People who voted early, some noted they were not aware there were so many proposed amendments to choose from, some of which will have a significant outcome if they are passed. While others noted that they did their research before entering the ballot box, but it still made it a difficult choice.[2]
