's website, the high-stakes beano would have been conducted by two Indian tribes.

Path to the ballot
Supporters needed to turn in at least 57,277 valid signatures to the Maine Secretary of State's office by January 24, 2013, in order to make the ballot.
When contacted by Ballotpedia on January 24, the secretary's office stated that the proposal did not file petitions by the deadline.
