The Maine Fish Hatcheries Improvement and Expansion Bond Issue, also known as Question 9, was on the November 8, 1994 ballot in Maine as a legislatively-referred bond question, where it was defeated.[1] The measure would have issued $10 million in bonds for improvements and expansions of fish hatcheries. The estimated interest these bonds would have accumulated at 4.8 percent over 5 years was $1.44 million.[2]
