The Maine Highway, Bridge, Airport and Harbor Improvements Bond Issue, also known as Question 7, was on the November 7, 1989 ballot in Maine as a legislatively-referred bond question, where it was approved.[1] The measure issued $21 million in bonds for highway, state and local bridges, harbor and airport improvements. $17 million was allocated for highway and bridge improvements, $1 million for airports and $3 million for harbors. The estimated interest on the bonds at 7 percent over 20 years was $15,435,000.[2][3]
