The Maine Public Safety Facilities Bond Issue, also known as Question 2, was on the November 8, 1988 ballot in Maine as a legislatively-referred bond question, where it was approved.[1] The measure issued $3 million in bonds to build, repair or renovate public safety facilities. The estimated interest on the bonds at 5.9 percent interest over 5 years was $531,000.[2][3]
