The Maine Training Equipment for Technical Colleges Bond Issue, also known as Question 7, was on the November 8, 1994 ballot in Maine as a legislatively-referred bond question, where it was approved.[1] The measure issued $5 million in bonds to purchase up-to-date training equipment at Maine's technical colleges. Of these funds, $3.5 million were for the purchase of training equipment at all of the campuses and $1.5 million was to match private or in-kind donations for program enhancements, research and development. The estimated interest on these bonds at 4.8 percent over 5 years was $720,000.[2]
