Maria Rodriguez was a Republican candidate for Lieutenant Governor of Illinois in the 2014 elections. Beginning in 2014, candidates for governor and lieutenant governor in Illinois run on a single ticket in the primary election. Rodriguez unsuccessfully sought the Republican nomination with running mate Bill Brady in the primary on March 18.[1][2]

Rodriguez ran for election to the office of Illinois Lieutenant Governor. She sought the Republican nomination in the primary on March 18, 2014, on a ticket with state Sen. Bill Brady, her gubernatorial running-mate.[2] The general election takes place November 4, 2014.
