A Marinwood Community Services District parcel tax, Measure G ballot question was on the November 8, 2011 ballot for voters in the Marinwood Community Services District in Marin County, where it was approved.[1]

Measure G will continue and increase a special tax for fire protection services. The tax will increase from 18 cents to 28 cents per square foot of residential and commercial space. Owners of unimproved land will see an increase from $60 to $90 per acre.

Under Measure G, the Marinwood Community Services District will be allowed to continue increasing these taxes annually by no more than the consumer price index.

A 2/3rds supermajority vote was required for passage.[1]

The question on the ballot:

MEASURE G: Fire Protection Services Special Tax Measure. To maintain current fire protection services, shall Resolution No. 2011-06 be approved increasing the Special Tax for Fire Protection Service by 10 cents to a maximum of 28 cents per square foot of living or working area, and by $30 to a maximum of $90 per acre of unimproved lands, with annual cost of living adjustments consistent with CPI, and the appropriation limit increased by the amount of said tax? (2/3 vote needed)[2]
