Elections for the office of New Hampshire House of Representatives will consist of a primary election on September 9, 2014, and a general election on November 4, 2014. The signature-filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 13, 2014. Mark Preston is unopposed in the Democratic primary, while Max Abramson, Francis Chase and Dennis B. Sweeney are unopposed in the Republican primary. John H. Kelley and Edward T. Cody are running as Independent candidates.[1]

On November 4, 2008, Preston ran for the Rockingham District 14 of the New Hampshire House of Representatives, winning the fourth of four seats with 2,833 votes.[2]
