Mary Ellen Otremba (b. September 26, 1950) was a Democratic member of the Minnesota House of Representatives. She represented District 11B after winning a special election in 1997. She served until 2011.

On May 19, 2010, Otremba announced she would not be seeking re-election in the fall.[1]

Otremba is a teacher at Swanville High School. She has previously been a teacher at Eagle Valley High School and the Freshwater Educational District.

Otremba is a member of Democrats for Life, 4-H Club, American Legion Auxiliary, Farmers Union, Minnesota Citizens Concerned for Life, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Catholic Woman's Association, Early Childhood Caucus, Minnesota Agriculture Education Advisory Board, Rural Health Advisory Board, and Right to Be Rural.[2]
