Question E was on the November 7, 2006 election ballot in Prince George's County. It passed with 143,204 votes in favor.

The official ballot question was, "To amend the prescribed scheduling and notice periods for legislation by the Clerk of the Council; to amend the time for presentation of enacted bills to the County Executive; and to authorize amendments to the County legislative process during an emergency declared by the Governor for matters relating to and responsive to the emergency.[1]
