The Maryland Voting Requirements Amendment, also known as Amendment 1, was on the 1801 ballot in Maryland as a legislatively-referred constitutional amendment, where it was approved. The measure required voters to be twenty one years of age, to be white males and to have established residency twelve months prior to the election.
