Matthew Hill (b. December 4, 1978) is a Republican member of the Tennessee House of Representatives, representing District 7. He was first elected to the chamber in 2004.

Biography

Hill earned his AS from Northeast State Community College. He went on to receive his B.S. from East Tennessee State University. Hill has worked as a Broadcaster and as Vice-President of Operations for Appalachian Radio Group.[1]

The signature-filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was April 3, 2014. Incumbent Matthew Hill defeates Phil Carriger and Todd Mitchell Franklin in the Republican primary.
