A Menasha Public Electricity Utility Sale Referendum was on the April 6, 2010 ballot in the city of Menasha which is in Winnebago and Calumet Counties.

This measure sought voter approval for the selling off of assets of the public electricity company in order to help pay off the city's debts. The city had undertaken a steam plant project, but it failed leaving the city with roughly $40 million it needed to pay back but no means to generate the money. By selling off the electricity utility, the city will generate needed income and lessen debt payments by residents.[2]
