Methow Valley School District Levy Replacements, 2 (April 2010)

Two Methow Valley School District Levy Replacement measures were on the April 27, 2010 ballot in the Methow Valley school district which is in Okanogan County.

Both measures were approved
Measure 1:

  • YES 1,293 (67.17%)Approveda
  • NO 632 (32.83%)

Measure 2

  • YES 1,147 (59.49%)Approveda
  • NO 781 (40.51%)[1]

The first measure sought to replace an expiring levy with a $1.46 levy per $1,000 of assessed value for two years in order to help pay for the general fund of the school district.

The second measure sought to add an additional $.40 levy to the other levy in order to help pay for technology and general school improvements throughout the district.[2]
