Michael Johnston was a Libertarian candidate for District 19 of the Ohio House of Representatives. The primary election was on May 4, 2010, and the general election was on November 2, 2010.[1]

About

Johnston earned his undergraduate degree in Computer Information Systems from DeVry University in 2004. He earned his master's in Project Management in 2005 and his master's in Public Administration in 2006 from the Keller Graduate School of Management. HIs professional experience includes working as a teller at Huntington National Bank, a senior data analyst at AVV, and income tax auditor at Cardinal Health and an information services specialist at Wallick Properties.[1]

Johnston was defeated in the November 2 general election by Anne Gonzales (R).[2]

Personal

Johnston lives in Westerville, Ohio. In addition to running for a seat in the Ohio House of Representatives, Johnston has served as the campaign manager for Citizens for McAlister and as the treasurer, vice chair and political director of the Ohio Libertarian Party.[1]
